Five days in and the Football Festival is storming along! We’ve got students from all over the world competing to be both the best Player and the most avid Supporter!

Football Festival

Starting tomorrow, we are running our Football Festival. Running in parallel to another, slightly less famous football event, the Football Festival will run for 32 days from 14th June until the 15th July.

During the Festival there are two ways you can win real world prizes:

Firstly, we are going to reset the leaderboard for Goals of Glory, our most popular football game. Then when the tournament ends the student who has scored the most goals will win an International football shirt of their choosing.

Secondly, because we know not everyone is going football mad this summer, we’re also going to give a £50 Amazon voucher to the student who spends the most time in quizzes over the course of the Festival. Just login and start studying, and that can be in quick fire or any game you choose, it all counts.

And finally, because we’re just that generous, every single day you login during the Festival you will unlock one free football shirt for your avatar. Login on all 32 days and you’ll get shirts for all 32 nations who are going to that other tournament I forget the name of…

FrogPlay World Championships

Hopefully you’ve all had time to get used to FrogPlay. Now everyone is on the same page, we’ve decided to have a bit of a competition.

Introducing the FrogPlay World Championships! Starting next week, schools from across the globe will compete against each other to be the very best!

Log in every day to get rewards like Avatar parts, credits, pets and more! There’s even brand new room customization options and trophies to be won!

The competition will last for 55 days, with different rewards every day, so if you want them all, you’ll have to make sure to log in! On top of that, you’ll earn special competition points for logging in, as well as doing homework and quizzes.

Changes to I am Learning

We have some big news: I am Learning is evolving!

What’s happening?

As of tomorrow, I am Learning will change to Frog Play. For many of you, you already use Frog Play, and won’t know what I am Learning even is. If this is you, then you’ll notice nothing different!

What does this mean?

If you use I am Learning right now, don’t worry, you won’t need to do anything, and your username, passwords etc won’t change. All that will change is that a few things might change name, or slightly move on the page. That’s it!

What will change?

Everything you use will stay the same, things might just look a little more… blue. Also the logo is a frog now. So that’s nice. The games, the quizzes and the avatar will all still be exactly the same. The room, wallpapers and buddies will all be exactly the same. Unlock codes will all still work, the five free games rotation isn’t going anywhere and you’ll still get all the same quizzes, revision tools and homeworks.

What do I need to do?

Nothing at all. The change will happen automatically, and all your results, progress, achievements and unlocks will be exactly how you left them.

Pack Hunter

A couple of weeks ago, you may have noticed a few new games appear. Today we’re going to look at one of them: Pack Hunter. This is a game we’ve had requested a bunch of times, based on pack-opening mechanics found in tonnes of AAA games.

Choose one of four sets, each containing 25 different cards, then choose a pack to open. There are five rarities of each card (6 really, but one is SUPER rare. There’s also a star rating on each card, empty star, all the way to double-platinum. That means there’s a whole bunch of cards to open!

You can save your cards into a collection, and try and get them all. Even better, you can see when opening whether a card is new, or better than a previously saved one. You can then sell an entire collection to, you guessed it, open more packs!

So whether you want to hunt for rares, open as many as you can, or collect them all, there’s something here for everyone. The best part is, it’s free right now! So you can go ahead and play it, and let us know what you think!

Free-boot Friday!

You may have seen a bunch of new changes to IAL/Play over the past week or so. A few new games, updates to old games, over 50 new achievements and plenty of minor changes. One of the biggest additions is the Multiplayer game mode, but there’ll be a separate post about that next week.

For now, we’re going to take a look at the reboots to some of our older games: Chain of Fools, I am Loaded and Higher or Lower. These games were starting to look a little… tired. Well now they’ve had a fresh lick of paint, added achievements and mobile functionality and even new hosts! If you’ve not noticed the changes, now’s the perfect time to play them, as they are currently free!

To celebrate the release of these reboots, we’ve even added a few new outfits for your avatar. Now you can dress as a gameshow host yourself, or stay casual with a Higher or Lower style T-shirt! Just enter the code 25118 to get them all!

Back to School! New items and games!

We hope everyone has had a great start to the New Year! Our New Year’s Resolution is more games, more codes and more new features, and we think you’re gonna like them!

First off, the shop has been updated with some new ‘Back-to-School’ items. A new smart shirt and blazer, sew trousers and skirts, as well as a handy notepad and pencil accessory means you’ll be super-prepared for the new term! These are available in the shop now!
