Welcome back to school, and welcome back to I am Learning.We’ve had loads of people unlock the pets already, and the pet games have been played hundreds of times! Remember, the pets are expensive, but they’re worth it. You can win some massive credit bonuses for keeping them happy, and whenever we release another pet game, you’ll get them for free! The most popular pet? The dragon!

Anyway, enough of that. What are we up to next? Well, we’re obviously working on new Iamable parts and games, but we’re also working to improve i am learning in general. For example, we’re improving quick fire, as that is the way that most people use i am learning. We’re also adding features such as improved audio, and the ability to exit games without losing your score! Is there anything else you’d like to see in the system? Hey guys. We’re aware the blog has been a little quiet the past few days. That’s because we’re working so hard on the pets, so we thought we’d show you guys a few of the things we’re up to!

First off, the pets should be released this month. We’ll be launching with probably a handful of different pets, with more to come soon after release.These will include dogs, cats, hamsters, even pigs and dinosaurs!

What’s really cool, is that when you buy a pet, you’ll unlock FIVE new games! You’ll play these games with your pet, and by playing them you will increase your pet’s happiness level.

If your pet is happy, it will compete in competitions and events, which could win you points and Iamable parts. You’ll need to log in often to keep your pet happy.

We hope this has answered a few of your pet-related questions. We’re really looking forward to releasing them, and we hope you’ll love them!

1. The artwork MUST BE YOUR OWN! Pictures copied and pasted from the internet will not count!
2. Your work must feature the I am Learning logo.
3. Your picture should relate to I am Learning in some way. Be it the games, the quizzes or the Iamable, it’s up to you!
4. You must upload your image no later than 16^th November 2012. Entries after this date will not be counted.
5. Be original! Last year we had thousands of entries. Make sure yours stands out from the crowd.

So what do you guys think of the idea of multiplayer games? We’re currently working on new ones, but we want to make sure the current ones work perfectly! We’d love to hear feedback, good or bad! We’d also like to hear what sorts of multiplayer games you’d like to see in the system, so leave a comment below!

      – The new items will be released alongside the shop, which will be in time for the new September term! There are literally HUNDREDS of new items, ranging from T-Shirts, jackets and shoes to superheroes, clowns and more!

      – No. Absolutely not. This will never be a part of our system. It would be impossible for us to keep an eye on the messages sent, and could end up in bullying and harassment etc. We also feel that it would be a distraction. There are plenty of ways to contact friends and classmates, we do not feel I am Learning is an appropriate way to do this.

     – Yes! Yes they are. We aim to get all the coming soon games done for September, along with a starter pack of exciting multiplayer games! We know they’ve been coming for a long time, and we really hope you’ll think they are worth the wait!

Can we have cartoon/film outfits for our Iamables?
     – This is a tricky one. We can’t directly copy things Pokemon or The Avengers,  as these are copyrighted. This means that we would get into a lot of trouble if we did. We can however try to make outfits that look similar to these things.

Can we have football kits?
    Football kits WILL be in the system in September, and they will be all different colours and styles (Stripes, hoops etc) but will not feature club logos etc. This is also because they are under copyright law.

Don’t forget, just because the Games have ended, that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to compete. You will be able to access sprinting, hurdling, javelin and the rest in the sports category as normal!

This Pro-Racing team has got everything coordinated, right down to their raised eyebrows! I’m not sure a pinstripe suit is the best uniform for racing, but 1st, 2nd and 3rd? They’re doing something right! Question is, can you beat them?

This is an important announcement from the I am Learning Games Committee. We have investigated our Javelin equipment and found many instances of non-regulation javelins! We were tipped off when several javelins were found to have been thrown 12 miles outside the stadium. Because of this, we have replaced all our javelins with IAL approved, standard equipment. All scores have been reset, but please feel free to try again! Thank you!
