Championship Tennis!

Wimbledon!

So, England didn’t do very well in the football! But don’t worry, Maybe Wimbledon will go better! To celebrate, we’re working hard on getting our Tennis game finished! Hopefully it will be released in the next day or so! Here’s a sneak preview!

What we’re up to!

We’ve had loads of interest in our upcoming Iamable shop, so I thought I’d share a few bits of info!

  • So far we’ve redrawn EVERY SINGLE ITEM in the Iamable creator.
  • We’ve made 60 new outfits, with more being made every day.
  • Work has started on a ‘pets’ section, which will mean your Iamable can have a pet kitten, dog, fish, bird, even a dragon!
  • The design of the creator has been completely remade, meaning it’s easier to find your unlocked items!
  • We’re working on a rear view of your Iamable. Hopefully this means we can feature your Iamable in even more games.
  • More animated parts! Waving, dancing, we’ll have it all!
  • You can now change the colour of EVERY item, including beards, skin tone, shirts, shoes… Everything!
Hopefully you’ll all love the new creator. We’re working really hard on this, and we think it’ll be amazing! I’ll post a few pics of the new items soon.
And don’t worry! We’re still focusing on more new games, new features and wallpapers ready for September!

The end of The Games!

Well that’s it. Nearly 200,000 people competed across 10 events. You guys logged an incredible 8 whole years worth of revision over the month, so well done!

A huge congratulations to those of you who won the medals. Have you checked out our closing ceremony yet? You can find it by clicking on the window in your room and following the link.

An even bigger congratulations has to go to Ross L, Adam A and Craig W. These guys were our overall winners of the Games and each get to pick a prize!
In other news, it’s the Jubilee weekend and we thought we’d celebrate. There will be bunting and all sorts, as well as a new outfits for your Iamable!

The IAL Games!

Well, the Games are nearly finished! You’ve still got about 30 hours to compete. Are you in with a chance of winning a medal, or even a PS3, 360 or tablet PC? The competition has been fierce, and it still could go to anyone. Could you shave 0.1 seconds off your 100 metre sprint? Lift an extra 10kg? Jump just one more metre? 
170,000 people have tried, only 30 will get a medal!

Also, keep your eyes peeled after the Games end. We’ve got a closing ceremony planned, where you’ll be able to watch the victors be rewarded!

Don’t forget, just because the Games have ended, that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to compete. You will be able to access sprinting, hurdling, javelin and the rest in the sports category as normal!

Sneak Preview!

What do you think of our new look Iamables? 

We’re completely redesigning them! We hope to make them look even better, with more detail and more items. Also, we heard you wanted a shop? Well we listened, and we’re currently working on a HUGE shop where you’ll be able to browse hundreds of outfits to make your Iamable truly unique! 

 We also know that you guys have been requesting more female items, from dresses to tiaras, from new hair to new shoes. Well we promise these are coming too!

These changes are just one of the things we’re going to be working on over the summer, so next year, your I am Learning experience will be even better! We’re also going to be looking at improving the room, adding achievements and games related rewards and, of course, lots of really great games!

There is just over a week left in the IAL Games. Are you in the running to get a medal? Here’s a sneak preview of how the medals will look. Remember, place in the top three OVERALL in any game, and your Iamable will automatically be given the corresponding medal! If you are on top of more than one leader boards, you’ll get more than one medal!

Have you played Rowing yet? It’s part of the IAL Games, but it’s our least played game. That means if you’re looking to get a medal, it might be an easier way to go! You can find it by clicking on the lake in the IAL Games village, or just find it in the Sports category.
