Hey guys. We’re aware the blog has been a little quiet the past few days. That’s because we’re working so hard on the pets, so we thought we’d show you guys a few of the things we’re up to!
First off, the pets should be released this month. We’ll be launching with probably a handful of different pets, with more to come soon after release.These will include dogs, cats, hamsters, even pigs and dinosaurs!
What’s really cool, is that when you buy a pet, you’ll unlock FIVE new games! You’ll play these games with your pet, and by playing them you will increase your pet’s happiness level.
If your pet is happy, it will compete in competitions and events, which could win you points and Iamable parts. You’ll need to log in often to keep your pet happy.
We hope this has answered a few of your pet-related questions. We’re really looking forward to releasing them, and we hope you’ll love them!
Christmas Card Winner
Christmas songs are being played in shops, toy and food adverts are all over the TV and people everywhere (especially in our office) are starting to feel the Christmas spirit. Better than all that however, is the sheer number of people who sent in entries for our Christmas card competition. We’ve had hundreds sent in, and picking a winner was really hard. We finally made our choice though, and here it is…
What do you guys think? We really liked the concept of this card, the colours are nice, and it uses the I am Learning logo to great effect. So well done Alisha! 5000 points are on the way to you! The card will also be sent to every school that uses I am Learning!
New Game: Mach-1 Moles!

For those of you who have played Eeny-Meeny Mining Moles, you’ll already know that the moles who work there have a somewhat… unconventional attitude to work. They’ve now come up with the idea that the best way to collect precious gemstones, is to fly around caves with a jet-pack!
- Mach 1 Moles is the second game to feature the moles who work at the Eeny-Meeny Mining Company.
- Based on classic spaceship landing games like Lunar Lander and Gravitron.
- Landing on the platform at the end of each level will double your score.
- Try to collect the diamonds and gold bars, as they are worth the most points.
- The game stores your highest score!

New Halloween game!
- Zap-a-Bat is the second of our Halloween games, the first being Grave Danger which was released in 2011.
- This is the first I am Learning game to offer multiple difficulties.
- Players should start off in easy mode and have fun without the pressure of losing all their points. This mode may also be more suitable for younger players.
- Hard mode, while offering the lure of more points is far more punishing, as clicking on a Faerie will reset all your Faeries back to bats!
- You should focus on the slower bats. Chasing after one bat for a long time will always result in fewer points!
- The game stores your highest score!

Christmas Card Competition!
Have you ever thought of yourself as a bit of an artist? Do you like the idea of your artwork being displayed in over a thousand schools around the country? Are you already excited for the festive season? If so, then you should definitely take part in the I am Learning Christmas Card competition.
All you need to do is come up with a festive design and send it to us. It can be drawn by hand, or done on the computer.
There are a few rules though!

The artwork MUST BE YOUR OWN! Pictures copied and pasted from the internet will not count!

Your work must feature the I am Learning logo.

Your picture should relate to I am Learning in some way. Be it the games, the quizzes or the Iamable, it’s up to you!

You must upload your image no later than 16th November 2012. Entries after this date will not be counted.

Today is a very special day. Why? This very blog is celebrating its first birthday! We’ve had an amazing year! We’ve got nearly 1000 comments over 86 posts, and nearly a quarter of a million people having visited! We want to thank everyone who visits this page, without you, we’d have no blog, and that would mean no new unlock codes, no new Iamable parts and no ideas for new games, so thanks!

National Space Week!
Yes, we may be a little late in our celebration of National Space Week, but we thought we should do something fun for it anyway! If you haven’t already seen the new page background, take a look now!
