Sneak Preview!

What do you think of our new look Iamables? 

We’re completely redesigning them! We hope to make them look even better, with more detail and more items. Also, we heard you wanted a shop? Well we listened, and we’re currently working on a HUGE shop where you’ll be able to browse hundreds of outfits to make your Iamable truly unique! 

 We also know that you guys have been requesting more female items, from dresses to tiaras, from new hair to new shoes. Well we promise these are coming too!

These changes are just one of the things we’re going to be working on over the summer, so next year, your I am Learning experience will be even better! We’re also going to be looking at improving the room, adding achievements and games related rewards and, of course, lots of really great games!

Prizes to be won!

Thousands of people have been playing our new Sports Games, and we’ve had loads of positive comments about the Games in general. We’re happy to announce the prizes on offer for those people who are on top of the overall leaders at the end of the events. To clarify; the people who are first, second and third on the overall leader boards for the IAL Games will get a choice of prizes.

The top three students at the end of the Games will be able to choose from our great selection of prizes:
1st Place: Sony PlayStation 3, X-Box 360, iPod Touch, Amazon Kindle, a Tablet PC or a PS Vita
2nd Place: Nintendo Wii, Tablet PC, Nintendo 3DS, Kobo VOX or ‘Beats by Dre’ Headphones
3rd Place: Official Olympic Kit, iPod Nano, Apple TV, Video Games (up to a cost of £100) or a Blu-Ray Player

The leading school at the end of the games will win £500 to spend on sports equipment of their choice.

The I am Learning Games!

The I am Learning Games have begun! The games have been active for nearly two hours, and already hundreds of people have played them! Have you? So far Mia F has lifted nearly two and a half TONNES in Weightlifting! Corey P has leapt a whopping 69m in the Triple Jump! Max S has thrown the Hammer 166m in total! Can you do better?

The ‘I am Learning Games’!

Only a few days now until ‘The I am Learning Games’ are underway! The ‘Games’ features many exciting new things. Here are just a few of them:
  • 10 new sports games! These games range from Diving to Rowing, Trampolining to Weightlifting. The best part is they’re all free! You won’t need any credits to unlock them!
  • New Iamable outfits! In some of the games, codes are hidden to unlock sports kits! Can you find them all?
  • Medals for our Iamable! At the end of the event, the people at 1st, 2nd and 3rd on each game will receive a gold, silver or bronze medal for their Iamable that they can keep forever!
  • REAL WORLD PRIZES! Take part for your chance to win things like Tablet PCs!
  • A new area to explore! For the first time ever, leave your room and visit the ‘I am Learning Games Village’. Here you’ll find stadiums, gyms and more. This is where you’ll access the new games.

We’re really excited about the games here, and hopefully you will be too!

Under construction…

Has anyone noticed something different in your IAL room?
Check the window… 

The I am Learning Summer Games Village is under construction and the games start on May 1st 2012. The I am Learning Summer Games will see the return of old classics like Diving and Sprinting, as well as a bunch of new games like Trampolining, Long Jump, Javelin and more! There’s even a separate leader board for these events, meaning that if you do well enough, you’ll unlock medals for your Iamable!

There’s loads more, including a new area to explore, new Iamable outfits and the chance to get your hands on some amazing prizes. So spread the word!

New Game – Beat That: Mini-Monsters

The recently released Mini-Monster Creator is already looking to be very popular. We thought it’d be fun to show off some of the many possibilities, so we’ve released Beat That: Mini-Monsters. This top-trumps style game pits 40 Mini-Monsters against each other in a battle of skill and strategy (and a little luck)! Here’s a preview of some of the cards. To see them all? Well, you’ll have to unlock the game!

 
 Doragon roams the Scorched Lands, protecting the forgotten Ancient Temples from robbers and thieves. He will use his vast array of magical abilities to make sure no harm comes to the hidden treasures.  

 The Ko are a tiny, shrew-like race who live deep underground. It is said that they use their teleportation powers to appear to miners lost in the caverns, and guide them to safety.

 Apparently, seeing a Shimo in the wild will bring you good luck. They live in the coldest areas of the planet, often hibernating for up to 10 years. It is believed that Shimo live forever.

 The Uni are referred to as “The Plague of the Deep”, attacking navy submarines and boats in the ocean. They bear a grudge to humans for staking a claim on the seas, and the Uni will stop at nothing to reclaim it…

Iamable Quick Fire

We know that lots of you use ‘Quick Fire’. It’s a great way to focus purely on the questions, and a great way to quickly earn credits for new games. We also know that some of you might find it a little boring!

New Game!

In our last poll, you said you wanted more design games. Well we listened, and here is the first of our new design games – Zookeeper!
It’s your job to house lots of animals in a grand new zoo. Choose from a wide range of animals, from arctic foxes to blue whales, meerkats to elephants.
