Happy St. George’s Day everyone! Although St. George is famous for slaying the mighty dragon, our Dragon pet is actually really friendly! Also, our sword (whilst legendary) is also made of tin foil, so no slaying here!

Car Tune 2: The long awaited sequel

It’s been a while since the last games we’ve released, so here’s a preview of the next two. We think they’re going to be really popular. Car Tune is one of our top played design games, so we’re really excited to release a follow up!

Penalty Shootout is our most popular game, so we’ve been wanting to release another football game for ages. We think this one is going to be massively popular too. It’s a 1 v 1 take on the beautiful game. You choose your favourite team from 20 available, then head out to the pitch. The more questions you get right, the more time you get to play. There’s also 3 difficulty levels to suit beginners, right up to seasoned veterans!

These games are only days away (hopefully) and we’re sure you’ll love them! Keep checking back to see how we’re doing, and when they’re out, we’ll post a handy hints and tips guide so you can get straight to the top of the league!

Complicated maths…

In the office this week we have been mostly using… Trigonometry! For those of you who want to become games developers, or something similar, take note! Maths is used in all aspects of gaming, from simple score addition, to complex collision detection and physics.

New Pets!

Earlier this week, we hinted at getting some new pets. Well here they are!


Inspired by a similar announcement a few weeks ago, these are the first of many new pets to be released this year. To celebrate, these three critters are reduced by 25%, so they’ll only cost 3750 credits instead of the usual 5000. Hurry though, they’re only on sale for a week (give or take). 

The next group of pets we release will be taken from some of our favourite games. Are there any I am Learning stars you’d like to see? The monkey from Whack-a-Monkey? A mining mole? Even an alien? Leave a comment below!

New Iamable Outfits!

 We’ve always have a lot of people requesting new Iamable parts. Many people though, think we release too many ‘boy’ outfits. So good news girls, here’s an update just for you!

We’ve released a range of dresses, tops and skirts, including our number one requested items: A school uniform! There’s even a Tutu for all you dancers out there! They’re all in the IAL Shop now, ranging from 20 to 100 credits.

Development Update!

Welcome back to school, and welcome back to I am Learning.We’ve had loads of people unlock the pets already, and the pet games have been played hundreds of times! Remember, the pets are expensive, but they’re worth it. You can win some massive credit bonuses for keeping them happy, and whenever we release another pet game, you’ll get them for free! The most popular pet? The dragon!

Anyway, enough of that. What are we up to next? Well, we’re obviously working on new Iamable parts and games, but we’re also working to improve i am learning in general. For example, we’re improving quick fire, as that is the way that most people use i am learning. We’re also adding features such as improved audio, and the ability to exit games without losing your score! Is there anything else you’d like to see in the system? If you’ve got any ideas on how to improve i am learning, why not let us know in the comments.

Pet Shop

Good news everyone. The pets are finally out! Choose from 15 different pets ranging from cats and dogs to dinosaurs and dragons!

Change the colour of your pet, then take them into the special games to make them happy!



You’ll need to log in every single day to keep your pet happy. Though don’t worry. Play a couple of games, and it will soon cheer up!


The happier your pet is, the more chance you will have of winning a prize! Prizes range from Rosettes and badges, to full Iamable outfits and even huge credit bonuses!


Pet games will increase pet happiness even more than normal ones. Your pet will also show on the Champions League. A happy pet will look very different to a sad one, so you can show off just how good an owner you are!

Also don’t worry, for those of you wondering where the Racing games are, they are now found in the Sports category! So have fun everyone, and keep an eye out for more pets coming in the new year!

By our count, it’s only 18 days ’till Christmas! The office Christmas tree is up and our dancing Santa has been liberated from his storeroom cupboard home.
